Prof. Ajith Nagahawatte, Dr. C K Bodinayake, Dr. Vasantha Devasiri, Dr. W Kodikara Araarachchi (extended faculty), Dr. D Vidanagama (extended faculty), and Ms. Ruvini Kurukulasooriya were awarded for a Scientific Publication for the year 2016 (Emergence of Epidemic Dengue-1 Virus in the Southern Province of Sri Lanka).
