Mirna Hodzdic Mun, a Duke MSc student commenced the 1^st twinning Program with her Sri Lankan counterpart Janithra De Silva (Lecturer, Dpt of Community Medicine) in June 2013 on a study titled “Exploring the Health of Female Foreign Domestic Worker Returnees from the Middle East” under the supervision of Dr. Vijitha De Silva, Prof. Truls Ostbye and Prof. Justine Strand and successfully completed her thesis defense. Mirna also supported the SLHMS study by developing a "generativity scale".
