Prof. AD De Silva

Prof. A. D. De Silva is a Professor of Immunology and Senior Lecturer at General Sir John Kotelawala Defense University since 2017.

He obtained a BS from Truman State University and a Ph.D. from Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine.

Prof. De Silva has served as a Research Advisor for the Duke-Ruhuna Collaborative Program since 2010.

His research focuses on the clinical genetics and immunology of infectious diseases, particularly dengue, TB, and melioidosis, and the sequencing and phylogeography of dengue viruses in Sri Lanka.
